Abstract

This article comprehensively examines the trend of replenishing the lexical system of the modern Kazakh language with neologisms. Concrete examples show that the modernization of the Kazakh language, the formation and development of neologisms are closely related to globalization, new socio-social relations, scientific and technological progress, the development of digital technologies and cultural information space. The authors analyze the structural and semantic features and areas of application of neologisms, the conditions and problems of codification of the entry into the norm of the literary language and their role in meeting the communicative needs in society. Based on the theoretical analysis and the actual linguistic material, the dynamics of updating the Kazakh vocabulary is determined. The authors prove that neologisms not only complement the vocabulary of the modern Kazakh language, but also are a linguistic indicator of social, cultural and technological changes in society.
