Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the stages of formation and development of Kazakh military terminography. It examines the substantive and structural features of military dictionaries and reference books, ranging from traditional native military terms to those of the Soviet period and the years of independence. Based on lexicographical works, the study analyzes issues concerning the standardization of military vocabulary, translation, and equivalence of Russian and international military terms in the Kazakh language.
