All manuscripts that successfully undergo double-blind peer review are published in the international scientific journal "Til zhane kogam" free of charge (no APCs). Each published paper is assigned an official Crossref DOI. Authors of high-impact articles may receive an honorarium according to editorial regulations.

Anti-Plagiarism & Originality Standards

All submitted manuscripts are screened using licensed similarity check software. The final decision on publication requires adhering to the similarity index threshold of 25–30% max (text originality must be at least 70–75%) and positive reviewer reports.

1. Thematic Scope and General Policies

The journal accepts original research articles aligned with the State Language Policy Concept for 2023–2029 across the following areas:

• Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence (Large Language Models (LLM) for the Kazakh language, digital discourse, NLP, and computational linguistics);
• Kazakh Terminology & Specialized Lexicography;
• Language Teaching Methodology (standardization and certification of Kazakh as a state and second language);
• Interdisciplinary sociolinguistic issues of the state language across humanities, social, and technical fields.

Manuscripts are accepted in Kazakh, English, and Russian. Machine-translated submissions are strictly prohibited.

2. Article Length and Typography

• Length: main body text must contain between 2,500 and 3,500 words, excluding metadata, abstract, and references (total word count not exceeding 5,000 words).
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.
• Line Spacing: 1.0 (single), paragraph indentation – 1.25 cm.
• Margins: top and bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1.5 cm.
• File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or RTF.

3. Article Structure (IMRAD)

1. IRSTI / UDC Code – placed in the top left corner.
2. Author Information: Full Name (bold), institutional affiliation, city, country, e-mail, and verified ORCID ID for each author.
3. Title: Provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English, capitalized and in bold (up to 15 words).
4. Abstract: In 3 languages, 150–200 words each (up to 300 words max). Must outline research objective, methodology, key findings, and practical value.
5. Keywords: In 3 languages, 5–8 keywords or short phrases.
6. Introduction: 400–600 words. Research context, problem statement, and goals.
7. Research Methods & Materials: 500–700 words. Description of theoretical and empirical frameworks.
8. Discussion: Comparative evaluation of findings against domestic and international literature.
9. Results: Detailed presentation of scientific findings.
10. Conclusion: 500–700 words. Key takeaways and practical recommendations.
11. Acknowledgements: Grant funding sources or supporting organizations (if applicable).
12. References: Minimum of 10–15 sources. Citations to peer-reviewed international publications are encouraged.

4. Bibliography & Transliteration

The list of sources must follow standard citation practices:

• Primary Bibliography: Formatted according to GOST 7.1–2003 / APA Style in order of citation. In-text citation format: [3, p. 54].
• REFERENCES: For articles in Kazakh or Russian, a separate Romanized/Latin-transliterated References block is required for proper indexing in international databases (Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ). Articles submitted in English do not require transliteration.
