Abstract

The article outlines the scientific and methodological foundations of teaching academic writing to undergraduate students of non-linguistic specialties. It proposes approaches for developing students' skills in working with academic texts, argumentation, citation, and adherence to academic style requirements. The effectiveness of a step-by-step instructional model is demonstrated through pedagogical experimental work.
